The SHARK DSP110 from Behringeris an all-round problem-solver combining an ultra low noise microphone/line preamplifier with a variety of useful signal processing options. These include Behringer's Feedback Destroyer circuitry, a delay line for speaker time-alignment, an effective yet easy-to-use compressor and a noise gate with a "learn" mode.
Switchable +48V phantom power, 24-bit analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters and professional connectivity round out the package and add to the SHARK DSP110's ability to adapt to just about any application. Sized so that five units can coexist in a 19" rack.

This product is a peice of junk, the week after i got it the multi-pin power supply connector started being intermitent and even when i could get this hunk of metal and plastic to work it sounded terrible. it was a good idea trying to put so many features in one device but maybe they should work on internal power supplies and decent audio quality before behringer tries to put so much in such a small package.

I use the SHARK on a spoken voice PA/lecture setup for simple delay and mild compression. Also use the low cut filter to keep rumble out of my high voltage speaker system. It works very well in that capacity. Runs kind of warm, so give it some breathing space in rack. I set it on shelf blocked up 1/2" on stick-on feet. Sounds good; 25ms delay keeps heads turned toward lectern.
