I use this to connect my Marantz recorder to my 5D Mark II (in conjunction with an attenuated cable). Clear audio, have not had any problems. I give it 4 stars because I wish it also came in a longer length, this length is to short for many applications.

This type of converter is pretty hard to find in electronics stores and I'm glad that B&H had it. Only thing is I wish the ends were gold plated.

The 1/8" on my monitor controller was slightly noisy. I used this input to monitor another computer. I noticed that I also had some RCA inputs. This adapter fixed the issue. Now I have a less noisy channel on my monitor controller.
