This module supports the advanced features of the Minolta system, i.e. ADI flash control for Minolta Dimage and Maxxum, Wireless TTL, and 2nd curtain sync operation (where supported by the camera and flash), and is also downward compatible with earlier SCA systems.
Requires optional 3000C Cord to connect to 45CL4, 60CT-4 and G16 Grip.

Comments about Metz SCA 3302 Dedicated Module for Sony & Minolta ADI:
I use this with the Metz 54i. Wireless mode works well along the Sony HVL-F20AM mounted on top the a850.
When used directly with the camera, I was first surprised the flash did not TTL when bouncing, but rather fires off at full power. Then I changed the mode to HSS and voilà: TTL works as expected (I was using 1/60 ...). Not sure it was explained elsewhere.
The HSS mode does not work with the second mini reflector of the Metz 54i - so no TTL with both reflectors (but A mode can be used with both, of course).
All in all not a bad deal to transform the 54i into a Sony compatible flash. I do not understand however why Metz has so much trouble getting things simple. Using the second reflector with TTL would have been great.

Comments about Metz SCA 3302 Dedicated Module for Sony & Minolta ADI:
This is the latest module from Metz to interface a Sony Aplha camera. This module offers both TTL and ADI flash control for your Metz flash. It easily snaps to the Metz control unit and offer's all of the functionality if you had purchased a Sony flash. This is a very hard to find item. The pictures are perfect!

Comments about Metz SCA 3302 Dedicated Module for Sony & Minolta ADI:
I got this for my Metz MZ-54 flash for my Sony DSLR-A100. It works perfectly.
Wireless function works great as well. The only glitch is that you have to have a Sony/Minolta ADI flash as the wireless controller, or use the pop up flash as a controller.
The mount fits decent enough in the non-standard Minolta shoe, but rather than do a simple push button release like the Sony/Minolta flashes Metz chose to screw it on similar to a standard flash. The result is that it takes longer to put the flash on and take it off the camera.
I certainly recommend this product for any A-Mount camera system users along with the Metz Mz-54 flash. The "A" mode on the flash is unbeatable. A couple MZ-54 flashes with these modules, controller (or control flash), light stands, and a Gary Fong Lightsphere diffuser would make a nearly perfect extremely lightweight and portable photo studio.
For most shooters this flash and this module will be the only one you'll need!
VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
