In addition to working with the Nikon autofocus cameras, the Metz SCA 3402 adapter also brings wireless TTL auxiliary flash capacity to other makes of cameras when combined with Nikon's #3073 SU-4 wireless slave flash controller. For example, if you had a camera with TTL flash capacity but did not have a cord to connect the system to an auxiliary flash and wished to have TTL with a second off-camera flash unit, you'd be out of luck. But not so with a Metz 32-MZ2, 40-MZ, 44-MZ or 54-MZ series flash; simply attach the SCA 3402 foot to a Nikon SU-4 slave controller and this combination will effectively mimic the power from the main flash!

Comments about Metz SCA 3402 Dedicated Module for Nikon i-TTL:
Compatible with D7000
I use Metz 54MZ-4. Previously, I used this flash with Canon bodies. Currently, I use it with Nikon D7000. By getting the module, my flash works perfectly fine with this new camera body. I actually had sold Nikon flash as I prefer Metz because I've used it for a long time.
Overall, this seems like a worthy upgrade.

Comments about Metz SCA 3402 Dedicated Module for Nikon i-TTL:
I prefer the Metz Flash system to dedicated camera flashes.
I operate Nikon and Leica cameras, the interchangeable Metz modules mean that my Mecablitz 44 MZ-2 delivers all the features of a dedicated Nikon flash on my Nikons and by changing the flash shoe module delivers all features on my Leicas.
I don't use Flash very often and this allows me to use the one flash gun on both camera systems just by changing the module.

Comments about Metz SCA 3402 Dedicated Module for Nikon i-TTL:
This module truly integrates my Nikon D2x and my Metz 760. When it works--it renders superb--and I mean SUPERB results. I am still getting used to it, however, and about 30% of my shots are not usable. I am trying to figure out why.

Comments about Metz SCA 3402 Dedicated Module for Nikon i-TTL:
I was using my Metz 54 mz4 with standard SCA301 shoe on an old Speed Graphic. I purchased this SCA3402 module so all the great features in the Metz can be fully utilized in my new D700.

Comments about Metz SCA 3402 Dedicated Module for Nikon i-TTL:
Durable and long lasting. It's been over a year since I've had to change out the module. Easy to snap in place and keep shooting!
