The Billingham Hadley Pro Shoulder Bag (Black with Tan Leather Trim) is a waterproof canvas bag with a photo insert included. The bag can double as a business case or a slightly posh beach bag. The Hadley Pro will accommodate A4 files and a small laptop computer. Constructed of waterproofed canvas with high density closed cell foam throughout, they have a thin profile and a compressible nature to let the weight always stay close to your torso. There are two gusseted front pockets that expand and close with quick-acting press studs. Insides are divided and can be rearranged as needed, or remove the padding to make the Hadley a conventional bag.

Comments about Billingham Hadley Pro Shoulder Bag (Black with Tan Leather Trim):
Coming from years of using NGC-2745, Hadley Pro surprised me by how light it is while being very well built. The bag is thin enough so it doesn't protrude from your waist too mcuh and that helps maintain your posture straigh-up, translation: less fatigue. It won't really hold mid-level or pro-level DSLR cameras like my D300 though. Entry-level DSLR might fit but in any case this is a bag more suitable for Leica M-system (I bought it for my M9) and maybe mirror-less systems. The strap leaves something to be desire as it's not very wide. A shoulder bag might be neccessary for long-hours usage. But the strap ring is top notch. This is the first bag I own that the strap won't expectedly extend itself due to the weight inside the bag. A very solid design. If Billingham has offered shoulder pad as part of the package I would have given it 5 stars.

Comments about Billingham Hadley Pro Shoulder Bag (Black with Tan Leather Trim):
Took this camera bag on 2 weeks of travel through France, Monaco and Italy this past May. The perfect bag for day journeys, in my opinion. Reasonably light yet well padded. Very well constructed. Well thought out design & placement of extra pockets. Silent - no velcro to draw attention. Sophisticated yet understated - does not scream expensive. Easy to access for quick lens changes. Deceptively spacious little bag. I fit two Leica cameras with lens, chargers, 2 batteries, 8 SD cards, cleaning cloth, a small foldable umbrella, wallet, passport, map, journal, cell phone, ipod/ear buds, & a ziplock bag of dried fruit. It qualified as a "purse" on the planes, so I was able to still bring an additional carry on. It was also the perfect carry on while on boats & trains - I could comfortably cross this bag over my shoulder for extra security. I love my Billy Bag. The only difficulty I had with this bag was in choosing its color. I was torn between the Black & Tan or the all Black. In the end, I'm very happy with the Black & Tan as it looks even less like a camera bag and more like a satchel. You can't go wrong with this purchase. It will surely last a lifetime of use. I had many camera bags and back packs in the past, this is without a doubt my favorite. Enjoy. Cheers.

Comments about Billingham Hadley Pro Shoulder Bag (Black with Tan Leather Trim):
I purchased this bag as a walk around, general purpose bag, to carry cel phone, ipod, camera, documents, etc.
I did not want a bag that scream camera! or laptop! or (god forbid) purse!, but a well made conservative bag with good protection for my camera and stylish enough to carry even when wearing a tie and jacket.
This bag is absolutely perfect for my requirements and is quite lite as well. The insert can be removed entirely for a lot more space in the bag should the need arise.
The bag is perfectly inconspicous but thanks to the closing hardware can be opened rapidly and silently. It is extremely well made.
Unfortunately it is quite expensive but in my opinion, well worth it.

Comments about Billingham Hadley Pro Shoulder Bag (Black with Tan Leather Trim):
At first it looked too small, but I soon found that it could hold a lot of gear very comfortably. Well contructed and roomy. Carries nicely on shoulder. I like the fact that it doesn't shout out "expensive camera gear inside". ;-)
