Comments about Manfrotto Diffusion Filter Pack - 12x12":
These are useful filters for my 10" reflector heads.
1. Make sure you wanted the white diffusion pack, not the variety pack. I heard diffusion and I assumed it meant "spread out," not all white.
2. If you're short on time, realize now that you need another piece to attach the filters to your heads. I ended up buying cto and ctb gels for 8.95 a piece, which is a better choice to the packs (for me). Those were attached with large metal paper clamps from officemax, but these filters may be too small for that strategy.
If you're definitely looking for this product, they're good, and they do the job. Maybe the only con is is that they could be organized better. Why label them with numbers? If it's opal coral, or whatever, just say the name on the sheet. I guess because the more specialized this profession gets, there's a larger need to be technical and nitpicky for "pro" organization.
My lights are 250w. I'd suggest a stronger light, or only inside shots, because the diffusion took so much light away that I decide to wait until post. I'd say add more lights, though you'd be choosing between different whites in this variety pack.

Great little pack for some quick lighting adjustments with small lights or practicals.

I like all the differences of diffusion that come with this pack. Some of the filters don't really seem that different from each other but they still work great.
I also use and umbrella with a lot of my shoots. I was hoping for a large amount of different from it and with all of these filters but in the shoots I've done haven't really experienced it. I think in more controlled closer up shoots of still objects might help bring out the differences in the pack.
Bottom line they do what the should and aren't too expensive.

I just used these last Saturday for a commercial shoot. I used them to diffuse a 500w tungsten open face in a lobby with spill cut with a flag. Worked very well. It would be nice if they came in a hard plastic reusable container of some sort. Great product otherwise.

I use it with my interview lighting set.
This package turns out to be very handy, since you get differente diffusion grades, based on your production.
The cons are for me, not for the Filter Pack.
I should have bought more sets.
