These Bogen/Manfrotto Vivid Colors Gel Filters consistently accurate, premium quality filters, made specifically for theatrical, motion picture, television and still photographic applications.
This pack includes filters that provide exotic, or theatrical colors for special effects. The pack contains 12, 12 x 12" (30 x 30 cm) filters.
- Color dyes are selected for their resistance to high temperatures and dissolved in special, fire retardant lacquers.
- The dyed lacquer is applied to extraordinary clear, dimensionally stable, polymeric film.
- Color control and consistency are maintained by a computerized spectrometer capable of correcting color application to within 0.0004 grams per square meter (~10.75 sq ft).

They are colorful to add a nice splash to your photograph. Easy to use, however, I did have a difficult time getting the color to show up as strong as I had wanted.

I used these filters for a photo class project. I managed to make a dark dorm room and set up involving a clamp light and another light look great! The colors are, like the name implies, very vivid! I wish there were more secondary colors, when I tried making purple with a blue and red the light got a bit dark. Overall the product was fun to use and did exactly what it claims to do.

I use these for my White Lightning monolights. They were a little larger than what I needed so I cut them down, and now have some extra gels for my light painting. The color choices are bold and excellent overall.

Our worship stage needed more color and this pack did the trick without needing to buy a lot of different single sheets and learn by trial and error. Buy two packs while you're ordering so you can have two of each color and have better color control.
