This product is great right- i was able to use it and scan the APS film cartridge within minutes. Simply add the cartridge, select your setting and walk away- when you return all of the film is scanned.

I have had one of these for a few years and have used it off an on until recently when I had to process about 150 APS cartridges. The unit started making grinding noises and then quit working. I sent it in for service but it was no longer under warranty. Nikon returned it and it worked well for two cartridges and then jammed. Now it is back in for service and I am purchasing another adapter so that it will be under a 1 year warranty which should cover the rest of my project.

Gives the same great results for APS that I get with my slides using the MA-21 and negatives using the SA-21. If you have APS's to save the availablity of this adapter would be a good reason to buy the Nikon 5000 or V scanner.
