The Neumann SMK8I is a gooseneck mount specifically manufactured for small diaphragm condenser microphones with 3-pin XLR male terminated connections. The gooseneck measures approximately 14" long (360mm) and the gooseneck provides accurate, quiet microphone positioning. The XLR input end features a counter nut which secures the microphone and protects against rattle and easy removal. The end of the gooseneck features a 5/8"-27 female thread, plus a thread adapter to connect to 1/2" and 3/8" stands. The attached cable is approximately 14 feet (4.5 meters) long and also features an XLR male end.

- This gooseneck is design for mounting small diaphragm condenser microphones. The gooseneck serves as a mechanical and electrical connection, as it passes through phantom power from the connected supply source.
- Accommodates Most Stand Fittings
- The bottom end of the stand features a 5/8"-27 female thread, plus a thread adapter to connect to 1/2" and 3/8" stands.
- Secure Counter Nut
- The microphone capsules fasten securely with the featured counter nut at the input section.
- Extended cable Length
- The attached cable features a male XLR terminated connection measures approximately 14 feet (4.5 meters) long.
