Heico Perma Wash (Liquid) for Black & White Film & Paper - 1 Quart
Heico Perma Wash is a highly concentrated neutral liquid that not only saves a tremendous amount of time and wash water, but even more importantly provides archival permanence in both films and papers.
Perma Wash is available in 1 qt., 1 gal., and 5 gallon concentrates. A one quart bottle will make 11 gallons of working solution.
Perma Wash saves more than 90% of normal wash water requirements which is estimated that the operating cost is one cent per 8 x 10" sheet of film or paper processed.
Perma Wash is non-corrosive and is formaldehyde free.

Use it to clear film (mostly T-Max) and silver gelatin papers (mostly Ilford Multigrade IV FB).
Have used it a long time and every time I test I find it constant in reducing hypo as advertised.
Not a thing to complain about.

I'm a beginner and do all this in my basement, away from running water. Perma Wash, if I'm using it right, allows me to wash the paper I'm developing and get it into a clean water rinse while not having to worry about not having a source of running water. I finish my developing, usually about 5-10 prints, and then take the tray upstairs for a thorough rinse, which, if the product does what it says, only takes a minute. For me, it was a fine investment.

I have use Heico for platinum/palladium prints and this perma wash has been great. Works quickly and it is a very efficient due to it's high concentration.
