I bought a Bescor KLK-65XT battery and on-camera light Kit but when you go to charge the battery, there is no way of knowing when it is fully charged and the directions say DO NOT OVERCHARGE BATTERY and ALWAYS STORE BATTERY FULLY CHARGED. So this charger makes it alot easier than trying to do the math on the directions about how long to charge it.
