From the Samson Airline Series comes a camera mountable wireless plug-in transmitter system. Combining the convenience of Samson's Air Line series wireless with the flexibility of a plug in transmitter, the system allows any wired microphone to be converted to wireless. Both transmitter and receiver operate over UHF frequencies for minimal drop out and interference.

The Samson AR1 camera mountable receiver is Samson's smallest wireless receiver to date and perhaps available in general. Measuring only 2 inches by 1 5/8 inches, this compact receiver operates over the UHF band of frequencies resulting in minimal drop-outs and interference from local radio frequencies. The unit features an audio out, headphone out, monitor level control, a Mic/Line output switch, Power switch and multi-function LED. The receiver is capable of operating from five to eight hours on a single triple-A battery.
