Novoflex, a small company in zealous pursuit of perfection for the persnickety, has invented a unique new flash system which uses three decidedly different light sources linked by a common generator. Several flash shoe adapters allow full compatibility with a host of popular camera systems. In macro flash, the relatively huge variances in effect from relatively small movements becomes a real nuisance for determining an accurate exposure. There isn't a system which accurately evaluates the complexities of macro exposure as simply as TTL metering. With TTL metering at all apertures, stunning results are possible by employing devices (such as narrow-latitude, supersharp slide films) with little room for error-even with moving subjects.
The Dual Flash Head consists of two flashes, each with a 31" cord, that attaches to the Novoflex generator. By using variable distances and the included diffusers, ratio lighting of up to 4:1 is possible. Novoflex has also created a flash bracket that specifically takes advantage of the Dual Flash Head, called the Duo Flash Holder, which allows a seemingly infinite number of relative distances and angles between the two flash heads.
