Two versatile Combo Lights are the heart of the Cool-Lux Hollywood Soft Light Kit 1. A compact scoop light that produces a diffused, nearly shadowless light, the Combo is a great alternative to a softbox, especially where space is limited. At only 4 lbs (1.8 kg), the Combo is only 14 x 9 x 6" (35.6 x 22.9 x 15.2 cm)--much smaller than a softbox. It accepts bulbs up to 1000W. And it does double-duty as a broad light--the scoop can be easily removed without tools, so that you're able to light large areas with a bright, broad beam.  You also get a Mini-Cool 150W key light, designed to produce more light than a 300W Fresnel studio fixture. The Mini-Cool accepts (included) barndoors and a (optional) softbox, and can be balanced to daylight using the (optional) conversion filter. It was chosen by NASA as the first video light on the Space Shuttle.

Also included are two heavy-duty stands, two 500W bulbs for the Combo Light, an AC dimmer with light stand, and a heavy-duty case with foam liner.
