Billingham SP20 Leather Shoulder Pad - for Billingham 2.0" Wide Shoulder Straps (Black)
The Billingham SP20 Shoulder Pad is made for bags with 2.0" wide straps that do not include them or as a replacement. It is an oversized 3.0 mm top grain leather padded shoulder pad with closed-cell foam padding and a neoprene gripper to provide comfort and grip. The strap attaches under loops that use a press stud to close.

This is a great aftermarket pad for various messenger bags. Currently I'm using it with a custom Timbuk2 laptop messenger bag, in faux brown leather, and in compliments the bag very well. I considered going with the brown pad instead of the black, but since the Timbuk2 strap is black, went with the black pad, and am glad that I did. The pad is wide, conforms immediately to the shoulder without a breakin period, is very soft on the shoulder & distributes the weight of a fully loaded (laptop, 5DMkII, 28-75, 50, 100-400, charger, etc) very well. The only thing that I would like to see on the pad is a bit better locking mechanism. If one catches the snap-locks on something, then they can come out. I'm going to put a bit of blue locktite on them, and that issue should be solved. Otherwise, despite the slightly high price, this pad is perfect.

At first was going to take a star off for the very high price...after using it for several months on several messenger bags it earns the full 5 stars...with this your messenger bag will never ever slide off your shoulder again...and looks great too...you'll forget about the price quickly...it's a perfect size as well...

Recommended accessory to go with your Billingham Bag. Very durable and well constructed. It keeps your bag strap from falling of your shoulder. Bad thing is that it is overprice.
