Westcott Background Support System
This Westcott Background Support System consists of two stands, a collapsible crossbar that extends to 10' 6", and a carrying case. The system supports both the 10' x 12' and 10' x 24' sheet backgrounds.
Optional Background Clips (9016) attach to the Background Stands, and will allow you to add a second crossbar and hang an additional sheet background from the same set of stands.

This background stand is exactly what I was expecting and more! I only gave it 4 stars because the crossbar does not telescope, it is in three sections that only allow two widths. But above and beyond that, it is a great stand for a great price! The air cushioned stands are well worth the extra money and it comes with a carry bag as well. Very sturdy construction but not too heavy to travel with. I use this stand for location shoots and it has worked great!

Westcott background support system works well for indoor set up. It is pretty wide to set up for family of 6 portrait and also work well for model photoshoot. The set up however is a little cumbersome but was expected. The bag that the system comes with is good to haul the b/g system around, but it's too small for the horizontal tubings. I would recommend this system for portrait photographer with economy budget.

Easy to set up. Love the air cushioned stands, which make it east to set up and take down by one person. I do wish the system had some sort of adjustable bar, instead of the 3 bars. You can either use 2 or 3 of the bars, but nothing in between. That's not insurmountable however, but would be an issue in tight spaces. Nice carrying bag to store it when not in use.

I use the background support system in my client's homes on newborn and toddler shoots. It's lightweight and very sturdy and super easy to assemble and disassemble! The only drawback is that it's very long, even at the shorter length but easily fixed by adding a smaller bar. I love it!

What can I say, this support system works.It appears to be made of quality material, and i've had no issues at all. It was a simple set-up, 1-2-3 boom. I love that it also includes a quality bag to store the pieces when not in use, that is great. The price is nice as well, so I recommend this for sure. For heavier backgrounds, i'd recommend using some sandbags, though.

Overall, this is exactly what I needed. Easy setup, sturdy design, carrying case for travel. My only wish is that you could use only one cross bar for tight spaces. You must use at least 2 and that limits me somewhat due to the large size if you are traveling to homes to use. Other than that, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Even a dunce like me took it out of the bag and set it right up. And then, took it down and repacked it - no problems. Does it get better than that? Well made, no critical plastic parts to break but still lightweight. I'd give this 4 stars.

I use this as a mobile background. Extremely easy to use and very well built. My only complaint is the screw tops to hold the bar on. Wish it was a locking lever or something that doesn't come completely off, too easy to misplace, I am forever searching for where I put them down!
