OP/TECH USA Mini Loop Strap-QD (Black)
The OP/TECH USA Mini Loop Strap-QD (Black) is a 17-25" adjustable neoprene neck or shoulder strap designed to carry a camera, binoculars, light meters or other gear. Fold over the small cord, slide it through the lug and create an opening large enough to loop through the main strap. The (QD) Quick Disconnect enables the user to quickly release the equipment from the strap.

I actually bought 2 of these straps, one for my camera and one I gave my husband for Christmas. We are avid kayakers and both have small, waterproof, point and shoot cameras that came only with wrist straps. I have not used mine, but my husband went out last weekend and really liked this strap. The best part is the adjustability of it. You can set it for different lengths, so he was able to have it long enough to take pictures and short enough to put in his pocket. The only thing is that the connection is a little tight, but I can't call that a bad thing. While it is hard to disconnect the camera, would I really want it to easily come undone?

I bought 3 of these because of very excellent previous experience with this item. The QD (quick disconnect) function functions flawlessly, BUT the sliders are unbelievable hard to work now. In the past this adjustment was easy and intuitive. The new cords seem too thick too rough or coarse. Op Tech may have a work around or suggestion for this,and I have sent them an email inquiry. There has not been time for their response, but I feel this imperfection of my 3 stock items should have been detected by their quality control.

I use this along with the wrist strap. I love the quick connect that allows me to use either the wrist strap or neck strap without having to "untie" each one from the camera loop.

I use it on my LEICA V-LUX 20. When walk I make it shorter. Let the camera hanging on my neck,so my hands are free. It is very easy to adjust the length.I am very very happy with it.

I bought this for my trip to Europe. Last year while traveling I dropped my camera several times because my hands were full.
