The headline above is for all of you who, like me, were looking for some clear statement of capacity -- in my case, can I get at least my tripod AND a light stand AND a small umbrella AND the lamp AND its cord in this??? Other than length, the dimensions don't necessarily tell you much, so I kept reading and reading the B&H reviews on different brands and bags. In the end, I was about 95% sure that this one would hold all of my items, so I bought it. Now, of course, I'm 100% sure. There's even some room left over, perhaps enough for a second tripod or a monopod, though I wouldn't try to go beyond that. The materials, especially zipper and padding, and workmanship are first-rate With a little thought to how you pack it, the balance is also excellent. Superb value as well.

Quality made, exterior pocket is nice - length was just right for my new tripod with ball head. But the bag itself is much to "fat", resulting in unnecessary bulkiness and space taken up. Tough to carry on an airplane, but not sturdy enough to resist checked baggage. Still a good bag, even with its limitations.

Comments about Hakuba PSTC 200 Large Pro Series Tripod Case - for Tripod up to 33" Long (Black):
This is a great case if you need something that is padded; might even be a little over kill for a regular tripod. The material and padding are both quite heavy and looks very nice. There is room for other items in the outside zippered pouch. I have a Manfrotto 190XPROB tripod with a Manfrotto 322RC2 Head that is 33 inches long and it fits with room to spare. Like I said, it may be a little over kill for a regular camera tripod, but I like the idea that it is very well protected as it tends to get bounced around.

A well built well padded bag. I found it roomy enough for two tripods and a monopod or one tripod and one monopod sliped into a PVC pipe to survive baggage handlers. I would compare this bag to many brand momogramed bags costing three times as much. All the seams are rolled and well stitched with no loose threads. The zipper is heavy duty and exterior packcloth reminiscent of some of my high end mountain packs. The shoulder strap is adjustable and removable though I would prefer rubber friction piping on the inner surface rather then the sliding rubber pad.

Bought this bag to carry my Telescope tripod. I was concerned with the fit based on the description, however it fits perfectly. Its padding helps to quiet any rattling and keeps all the small parts together if anything loosens up.
I was particularly impressed with the quality. Heavy duty nylon with over-sized zipper and rugged carrying straps. The straps encircle the entire bag.

I got this case for my Manfrotto 055 tripod with the Manfrotto 501HDV head. This is a sturdy and well made bag with convenient handles and shoulder strap. My video head is large and this bag is large enough for the tripod and even an additional monopod. There are pouches in the inside and the outside for wrenches, etc. Overall, this is a great bag for a variety a medium-large tripods.

I bought a new tripod and do quite a bit of traveling with it. I needed a case with padding and multiple options to carry it. The case works great to fit and protect my tripod. Its great to be able to carry it over my shoulder or by hand. There is also a smaller outside pocket for any smaller accessories you may need.

Going on out of state assignment and needed a bag to protect tripod for baggage check in. I purchased the bag based on it's description of having "high-density, closed cell moisture resistant foam padding". [...] was well pleased with it's padding. Bag quite roomy. The 600 denier is pretty and good enough for most situations. Great bag for the price.

After looking for a case for my Manfrotto 055cxpro3
I decided on the Hakuba PSTC 200. There is a little more room than I need but the overall construction is great. Should last a long time.

The only reason not to buy this bag over a more expensive bag is if you want it padded. This bag is well built, and large enough to fit almost any tripod and ballhead combo. You wont regret it.

Please thank your sales associate who recommended this tripod case. It seems well built and durable with enough room for both my Gitzo monopod and tripod. This replaces a cheaper case that lasted one month and one airplane flight. Now which is the better bargain! I expect to get another one for my lighting equipment.

The case seems well designed. It also has about a 1/4 inch of foam padding that helps protect the equipment inside. I use it with my Manfrotto CF tripod and can also fit an umbrella and stand in the bag. The bag might be a touch large for everyday use but works well for traveling/transporting your gear. If your looking for extra protection...Nice choice. If you just want to keep the dust off...You might want to look somewhere else.
