Hakuba PSTC 400 Pro Series Light Stand or Tripod Case - for Light Stands or a Tripod up to 46" Long (Black)
The Hakuba PSTC 400 Pro Series Light Stand Case is a padded case made to carry and protect light stands or a tripod up to 46" long. It has a 600 denier polyester material outer-shell and nylon lining. The case protects the tripod against extreme temperatures and impact via its high-density, closed cell moisture resistant foam padding. The case has exterior and interior pockets, overlapping carrying handles and a shoulder strap.
The PSTC 400 Case has an interior strap to secure the tripod and rubber feet to prevent slipping when the case is on the ground.

Great, great light stand bag. I can fit two long and heavy light stands with umbrella adapters attached, manfrotto tripod + head, and three smaller light stands. In addition, I can fit clamps, speedlights, batteries, and other miscellaneous items in the inside and outside pouches.
When weighted down with a lot of gear, the padded handle could be slightly more comfortable I suppose, but that's being very picky. Aside from that, I don't like the tying down method inside the bag. I think the Tamrac clips which are advertised as a related item might be more helpful for keeping your stands secure. My only other complaint is that because of the bag's length, it really is best suited for longer stands. If I'm going on a job and only need my smaller stands, taking this is unnecessary.
But it's a wonderful bag, the build construction is very solid. I think it's attractive, too, as light stand bags go. Get it if you need the length. 5/5 stars.

Sturdy case. I purchaed as part of a bundled kit with 3 light stands. The stand fit perfectly, as well as a few umbrellas. I wish the bag was a couple of inches larger, I have an umbrella/ fash shoe combo. holder mounted to the top of the stands......... difficult to fit, unless I rotate the top of the holder to a 90 degree angle.

The clerk at B&H pointed out to me that I would pay double the price for a f64 bag simply because of the name brand! That seems crazy when this bag is super durable and well made for a great price. I am always glad when I end up spending less money than I thought I had to to get a superior product. It is roomy and hold 2 large impact stands and my tripod.

I purchased this case in a scramble to make a light-duty travel kit to fly out and do a wedding in Oregon. I read some of the other reviews and was a little nervous about the quality of this, but after receiving mine in the mail I have to say that I was pleased to see that it's actually quite good. I did a test run with it at a local wedding and quickly learned that you should NOT over pack this bag. I suspect that a lot of the negative reviews have come from people trying to put too much in there.
For my trip out west, I managed to pack 2 regular sized light stands, one larger heavy duty stand, a medium soft box, a 32" umbrella, a few a-clamps, a speedring, all of my rechargable AA batteries, and bungie cords. All of this went in there with still some room to spare. The bag went to and from Portland with a layover in Houston with no damage to the case or the contents. Also, the straps inside the case do a perfectly adequate job of holding everything in place.
All in all, I think this is an excellent buy for the money. I'm rating it 4 stars because, well, it's no Cadillac. If you want a REALLY nice bag, you should look elsewhere. If you want something functional and inexpensive, this will be great for you as long as you treat it well.

This is an excellent case!!! It's very well padded. I have two. I use one to carry all of my tripods and monopods and I use the second for two light stands and reflector arm. The handle is very sturdy and the case is well padded.

not having actually taken this bag anywhere yet (or let assistants drag it across concrete floors, leave it out in the rain, drive over it etc) you should all take this review with a few grains of salt. but basically this thing looks like it'll do the job fine for me.
got 3 lighting stands in it, and at a pinch I reckon I could probably squeeze another one in (though I dont actually have another one so cant actually verify this, sorry). no problem getting in a few gels, black-foil or whatever anyway.
bigger and better padded than I expected, and nice big pocket on the outside. but time will tell how sturdy and well made it really is (the zips are always the first to go...)

I have been using this bag for frequent air travel over the past couple of months.
Pros:
- Big and long. I can fit four or five lightstands in there if I arrange them right.
- More room for some other stuff. I can put a ziploc bag in there with a few clamps as well, and it still doesn't hit 50 lbs. I've gotten it up to 40 lbs or so.
- Side pockets are big enough to fit a pack of 24 batteries and some gels.
- Zipper is big and seems sturdy.
Cons:
- Getting a few holes in the canvas at one end due to ape-like treatment by airline baggage handlers.
- One of the handles has started to rip down the side already. Unsure how I'm going to fix it.
- Half the time, you have to carry the bag around to the oversized baggage check. (But the other half you don't, and it's random.)
Except for the slowly ripping handle, I'm quite happy with this bag. It does what I needed.

I purchased this bag to carry my extra Manfrotto light stand with the arm to hold a large reflector. The bag is very well made and padded very nicely. Its interior is very big I can fit my mono, and Benro small travel tripod in there all @ the sametime. If you need a Long light stand bag, with good quaility get this bag you won't regret it..

I use this to carry/store
3 x Manfrotto 1052 stands
1 x Photoflex light disk holder
5 x Umbrellas (32"- 45")
1 x Manfrotto flex arm
1 x pouch with 2 super clamps, tapes, spigots
Quality of this bag is great, its well padded and has a very high quality zipper and a sturdy shoulder strap.
The base of the bag is wider than the top, so on a cross section it tapers towards the top; the specified 8.5" width is at the base (bit misleading Hakuba!!)
Inside the bag there are three buckle straps/fasteners sewn to the bottom of the bag to hold stuff together. While the idea is great and commendable the buckle mechanism is very fiddly and inconvenient to operate. Simple Velcro would have been much more practical.
The bag also has a decent size outer pocket which is quite handy.
I'm very happy with mine!
