Comments about Leica Viewfinder (Black) - Variable for 21mm, 24mm and 28mm Lenses:
I use this with an M Leica or a Rollei 35RF and both 21 and 28 mm lenses. The optics are amazingly clear, and changing the focal length setting is easy and can be done looking through the finder because there are click detents for each of the three lens lengths. It is well thought out, with an offset from its base to shift the center of the viewer over the center of the lens. The offset is the same on both cameras, so both are corrected.
My only complaint is that it is not "spectacle friendly" in that it is impossible to see the entire field of view with glasses on. There is insufficient eye relief for that. Fortunately, my eyes are not so bad that I can't frame with my glasses flipped up.

Comments about Leica Viewfinder (Black) - Variable for 21mm, 24mm and 28mm Lenses:
This small finder is being used on my M8.2 once focal lengths shorter than 24mm are attached to it. It is very well made and can easily be switched from one field of view to the next. This finder comes in a well made leather protective case, which can be attached to the camera strap or any belt if applicable. I deducted one star because the whole picture cannot be seen if you wear glasses. Camera plus attached finder becomes more fragile, but this has nothing to do with the finder itself.

Comments about Leica Viewfinder (Black) - Variable for 21mm, 24mm and 28mm Lenses:
I haven't given up on digital but returning to film and my Leica M-6 with the addition of a couple of new wide angle lens choices has energized my love for photography again. The quality of this viewfinder is great and will not disapoint. The viewfinder may become a collectable in the future, giving it much to love. It also looks good on the camera.
