The Azden/K&K CXM-5H is a miniature soft-cardioid clip-on microphone designed for saxophone as well as other brass and woodwind instruments. The CXM-5H reproduces saxophone with great detail and minimal noise at close range. The capsule is mounted on a flexible gooseneck for easy, firm microphone positioning at the bell.
A flexible microphone head suspension, gel-embedded capsule mount, plus cushioned clamp ensure transmission that is free of mechanical key noises. A miniature controller box is included and serves as the microphone's output stage and power supply. The CXM-5H features a mini 4-pin connector for use with compatible Azden wireless transmitters.
The CXM-5H is a cost effective yet professional solution for capturing saxophone and brass in recording and live sound reinforcement applications.
