Comments about Anton Bauer UL-SB SoftBox:
He have modified this slightly to fit onto a Bescor incandescent on camera light. It definitely helps to soften the light. We've used this light for years at hours on end and never had a single problem (I was always worried about heat with other products). Its a great product, I just wish it was a bit cheaper and had a widescreen option.

Comments about Anton Bauer UL-SB SoftBox:
Used only in run-and-gun, ENG applications and then only when I need a softer light than the UL-DF #1 light diffuser will provide. It is cumbersome to mount, will not swing over the UL-DF#1 diffuser, so that needs to be removed first. Then try mounting the thumbscrews into non-stationary brackets inside the unit which slip out of position -- frustrating! My unit arrived with a missing lock washer, so a trip to the hardware store was needed before the first shoot. This is not what I expected from AB.

Comments about Anton Bauer UL-SB SoftBox:
I use the softlight when shooting in fast paced ENG EFP applications where extensive light setups are too time-consuming to get the quick shots.
I can easily pop it on or off of the ultralight and it works better than the diffuser to give an even light without the harsh spots.
It is a little more time consuming than the diffuser to put on (by 30 seconds or so?), but in all it's still faster and more convenient than trying to use a full light rig.

The ultralight can be a bit bright...this adds a nice soft glow.
