Avenger Large Sand Bag (22.4 lb/10 kg)
This Avenger Large Sand Bag is made of durable black cordura nylon and has 2 zippered compartments. It is made in saddle bag style and may be hung over a stand leg or boom via the convenient handle. The bag ships empty and holds up to 22.4 lb (10 kg) of sand or weighted material of the user's choice.
Sand bags come in a variety of shapes and weights. They are used for securing the bases of light stands and set walls. Many have handles, for hanging on hooks or risers. Some have two wings, to allow draping over light stand legs.
Most are cordura nylon, some are vinyl covered and waterproof.
Some models of sandbags are shipped empty, for convenience and economy. They can be filled with sand, or any type of weight you provide, and emptied for storage, or transport.

This is very great sandbag. I haven't try it yet. I put 40pounds of sand in it and still hold very tight. Great product! I only wish it was a zipper format instead it was a velcro. I don't know if velcro could hold it. I will have to test it out.

The weight spec is listed at 13.5#. It's actually 35# according to Avenger. It also weighed 35# when I filled both pouches with sand. It's a sturdy bag and, with the double velcro closure on each pocket, I don't have to worry about the sand spilling out.
