Comments about PCS145 Shoulder Bag - for Pelican 1450 Series Medium Protector Case:
I have my Canon T2i with the 18-55mm lens on the camera, along with my 55-250mm lens in the bag and there is plenty of room for other products. I carry my charger in there as well with no problem.

Comments about PCS145 Shoulder Bag - for Pelican 1450 Series Medium Protector Case:
I love Pelican products and rely on them to keep my camera gear safe. Imagine my surprise when $4k worth of camera gear hit the ground because of a ridiculously cheap and bad designed shoulder strap hinge "snapped loose" after two hours of use.
The issue is specifically the section that couples the pivoting section to the latch. (Look at the product photo, bag has the hoop. On the hoop is the latch. The section that connects that latch portion to the strap and allows it to pivot) If you can believe it, it is plastic! But worse, this plastic piece literally "SNAPS ON" to the latch. Unfortunately what "snaps on" usually snaps off. In this case, with surprising ease either way. Why would you make the most important part of the bag, the piece that safeguards it from falling from several feet, "SNAP ON" PLASTIC!? To be clear, my shoulder strap did not "break". I was able to snap it back together right away but who would trust it?
My brand new bag failed after two hours of use with a Nikon D300, Nikon 24-70, Nikon 105 micro and an SB-900. I consider that a regular load and the bag was not brimming nor heavy for the bag's solicited design. So if you carry more than a DSLR, two lenses and a flash, look somewhere else. My old, trusty Tamrac Velocity 9x weathered the trip fine carrying a lot more gear. I can recommend it.
On a good note, the bag padding is pretty good because this bag took a really bad fall and tumble. Everything seems to be fine. However, I expect my bag strap to prevent falls in the first place
I would give this bag higher ranking for design which is very nice and versatile. The bottom line is a trusted name, Pelican, bag dropped $4k of my gear in the first two hours under normal load and use. Since a system is only as good as it's weakest link and this link is definitely a 1, the bag gets a 1.
If you buy or have bought this bag, at the minimum, replace the Pelican strap with a high quality shoulder strap ASAP.

Comments about PCS145 Shoulder Bag - for Pelican 1450 Series Medium Protector Case:
This is a good bag for small slr or for what I use it for, as an insert for the Pelican 1450 for a Leica M2 with lens. Good construction, as well as well padded.
As I said it would be better if the floor of the inside were plush with nap like the old Lowepro Omni Traveler for this same Pelican case. Unfortunately, it is no longer made. I just use a large microfiber cloth to protect the camera from wear.
This bag to me is the next best choice. I don't use it as a seperate shooting bag as I have a Billingham Leica shooting bag for this use, so I can't comment on it from that standpoint from personal experience.
The fit in the Pelican case is a bit loose, but if you store the accompanying strap on one side it tightens things right up.
The bag is on the small side so I use it with the Pelican as one kit (Leica M and lens plus accessories). But then you certainly could fit a lot more in if you wanted to stuff it. I just prefer the smaller kit concept for gear as opposed to larger bags and cases that hold more.
All in all a good solution for transporting and storing valuable gear inside the Pelican 1450 waterproof and airtight case...

Comments about PCS145 Shoulder Bag - for Pelican 1450 Series Medium Protector Case:
This was the perfect bag for my Nikon D90 and a few "standard" lenses. When I purchased a battery grip and a 80-200 2.8, this bag became more of a lens overflow bag because the neither the battery grip nor the fast lens will fit this case.
If you're not going to use any "big" lenses and/or grip for your dSLR, I recommend this bag very highly. Strong, well-built, good padding and protection. Great bag for the $$!
I gave it 5 stars because the size factor was my problem, not the bag's problem. Had I known I was going to move into the big lens & grip so soon, I probably would have gone with something different. Still, this bag goes with me 75% of the time for extra storage.

Bag is very nice - unfortunately, I had to send it back because it was too small for my DSLR, lens, flash, small video camera and sealife underwater camera and housing. I exchanged it for the larger Pelican bag.

Comments about PCS145 Shoulder Bag - for Pelican 1450 Series Medium Protector Case:
I like the way how you can convert it to a backpack especially for hikes up on hills or mountain tops. Then after the hike, convert it to a shoulder bag going around town. With many useful pockets and partitions, you can conform it to your everyday needs. Thank goodness for the two different ways of accessing your camera or internal partitions as well. Thumbs up again on Pelican.

Comments about PCS145 Shoulder Bag - for Pelican 1450 Series Medium Protector Case:
I bought this to use as a bag for my accessories for photography, not my main equipment bag. The design is great and the quality is second to none. The only issue I have is that it is abit small and I should have gone with the next size up from it.
