I bought 2 of these for the Beta 98A/C. They are a much better, thicker cable than the thin one that comes with the mic originally. The thin one gets tangled very easily, almost cant avoid it.
Please note that this thicker cable will not fit into the routing slot on the side of the Beta 98A/C clip. The slot doesnt have enough available matter to increase the hole size either. Im sure you will find a way to rig it though.

no more cracks or hums . I experenced an occational pop in the mains . trouble shot it down to the beta 91 kick drum mic . mic and cable was about 6 years old with regular use. New cable from shure made it brand new again .
