Comments about Raider i-cuff PRO Viewfinder Hood:
I found i-cuff PRO to be an exceptional help on our Canon DSLR's. When using the Zacutto finders, (or Hoodman's), i-cuff PRO is an invaluable tool in order to see the image outside and inside. It really cuts out the light and allows critical composition, exposure and viewing!!! Much better than those flimsy, greasy and cold rubber eyecups. Soft and comfortable for those long shoots. BRAVO and thanks i-cuff!!!

Comments about Raider i-cuff PRO Viewfinder Hood:
When I took the I-cuff out to videotape birds in bright sunlight, I was able to focus on the birds, without distracting glare. In fact I forgot all about the I-cuff until I got back home and realized that I had never hassled with my eyepiece once.
It took some doing with rubber bands to attach it to the eye-piece, and I had to wonder why they folded the material inward where it rubbed on the eyepiece instead of outward out of the way. A built in-elastic might do a better job. Still, it solved the glare problem for my Canon GL2.

Comments about Raider i-cuff PRO Viewfinder Hood:
This DV version does not fit the Canon XH-A1[...]. The manufacturer is unwilling to make a list of even the top 10 cameras that each size fits. I'm doing an exchange now and have yet to test it. It seems like it's well made and designed - I just with the manufacturer took a little more time in research and customer service. The logo on the side is a big too large for me - I'll be cutting that off for sure with a razor blade stitch by stitch.
Comments about Raider i-cuff PRO Viewfinder Hood:
I read the reviews and at the beginning used a
rubber band to keep it in place but after using it many times I realize that without the rubber band
just the way it comes fits and performs better.
Also is very comfortable, and lets you focus under
any light condition. This is with my Canon HG10.

A must have for shooting outdoors on a sunny day. It lets you focus in on the action like a pro.
Comments about Raider i-cuff PRO Viewfinder Hood:
Those fold-out viewfinders work great inside, but outside I can't see a thing. along comes i-cuff and my problem has been solved. For sports, birthdays, family get togethers, i-cuff has made my day. No I can truly as they say, See What You've Been Missing! Thanks i-cuff for a great product. I'm telling everyone about it.
Problems Encountered: On one of my cameras it slips, so I used a rubber piece of non-slip and put it between the viewfinder and fabric of i-cuff. Solved the problem..
Previous Equivalent Items Owned: Hoodfinder.. It was a poor design and workmanship. Wish I bought i-cuff first.
Items I Recommend: Get one for your binoculars too. Also works on my telescope.
Comments about Raider i-cuff PRO Viewfinder Hood:
As a Mom trying to take pictures of my kids at soccer, baseball, dance, parties, etc it is near impossible to see thru the viewfinder, let alone the fold-out monitor in sunlight. Then here comes i-cuff with a super solution. Highly recommend this little i-cuff DV. I've told my whole neighborhood about it!!! Thanks i-cuff.
Problems Encountered: Only some slippage sometimes on camera plastic surface, but used thick (broccoli rubber band) or non-stick rubber from hardware store to put between camera viewfinder and i-cuff. Works like a charm...
