The Panavise Knuckle is a accessory bracket perfect for mounting an EFP-style LCD monitor. The bracket attaches to cameras with a 1/4-20 female screw (a shoe to screw adapter may be necessary and is sold separately), and mounts the monitor with a male 1/4-20 screw. The bracket is very positionable with a ball/socket that tilts 210°, rotates a full 360° and the monitor itself can turn a full 360. A large, easy to wing-type knob makes for quick for positioning and locks securely.

I use this to mount a monitor on my Sony EX1R camera. Since this and the camera both have female threads, I sawed the head off a 1/4-20 screw. Be certain screw is of correct length, so adapter seats firmly on flat surface of camera. Properly mounted, this gives a rigid support for monitor.
