Comments about Birns & Sawyer Hi-Hat with 100mm Bowl:
I bolted this to a 12x12 piece of plywood for a nice low - or high camera mount. I use this down on the ground - or clamped to a ladder.

Comments about Birns & Sawyer Hi-Hat with 100mm Bowl:
This is a piece of equipment that is very versatile in use and well built. I use it on a slider, on a ladder, in cars and just about anywhere I can't use a tripod.
I use it with a 75mm bowl adapter. I sometimes rent different heads for different cameras and like to be versatile as well.

Comments about Birns & Sawyer Hi-Hat with 100mm Bowl:
We have bowls by other manufacturers that didn't bother to center the holes on the feet or have consistent distance between the mounting holes. This one was better. couldn't give a 5-stars because we purchased only one and couldn't verify consistency of production.

Comments about Birns & Sawyer Hi-Hat with 100mm Bowl:
Pretty straightforward and solid hi-hat. I've used others with collapsing legs and don't like them or thin they're as sturdy.
