It start great.. feels good.. but then.. not even after a week it starts splitting along the edges... a waste of money... sorry to say it...

I'm glad I got to review a product as simple and relatively "low key" as the B & S Oval eyepiece. It's a chance to give praise to a product most shooters simply take for granted. The Birns and Sawyer chamois eyepiece works like a charm, doing what it's simply designed to do; make the task of keeping one's eye "glued" to the camera's eyepiece a little more comfortable and a bit less tedious. Anyone who spends a lot of time looking into a camera's eyepiece knows exactly what I'm speaking of. The B&S chamois oval eyepiece is one of camera operators' little unsung heros.

good start with these eyepieces as they feel great on the eye. The also appear chunky and well made. But I am in week 3 and have already had to go through 4 of these as they keep splitting along the sides. One after the other they go within a couple of days. not good
