The Sony CDP-CE375 CD Changer is a 5-disc carousel style CD changer that features that important "play one/exchange four" capability to keep the tunes rolling, along with CD-R and CD-RW playback. Variable-volume analog output, Toslink digital output, and a remote control are also included.
Features on the CDP-CE375 include Sony's jog dial control, Direct Access track selection, peak volume search (for recording adjustment), and Sony's Hybrid Pulse D/A converter. Sony's digital servo control maintains precise tracking, laser focus, and disc rotation while lowering radiated noise.
The CDP-CD375 has 32-step programming and a 20-track front panel 'calendar' LCD display of the tracks that are programmed, played, and remaining. Other features include a headphone jack with volume control and a 5-second track-to-track fade out/fade in function.

Bought this for use in my studio.Great sound for a great price.[...]The Sony is a great unit. I have no complaints, and if I ever want to use it in an audiophile system it does have an S/PDIF (w/RCA) out for use with an external DAC. Most units in this price range don't have this,[...].Ergonomics are, as usual with Sony, are the best. This also goes for the remote. The knob used for AMS (track selection) is an incredible feature.Without really looking at the unit I can reach over and change the track. This is especially important to me since I shoot in mostly very low light. My only complaint is that Sony packing has gotten a bit on the cheap side, but the unit was shipped double boxed (a surprise) so it arrived in perfect shape. Very pleased.I use this with a Denon DAP-5500 pre, Luxman M-113 amp,Kimber cables (8PR's & PBJ's), and ADS CM-6 speakers. Will maybe switch to ADS CM-7's soon and might add an external DAC.The Sony is a great value and is recommended to allwho want a budget big bank for the dollar system.

Comments about Sony CDP-CE375 CD Changer:
Sony has always made the best CD players/changers. My last one lasted 12 years until I dropped it. The new one looks just as good and so far is performing flawlessly. Great product that will be harder and harder to find.

Comments about Sony CDP-CE375 CD Changer:
I wish I had bought this years ago. The only negative I have is that it is not quite as compact as I wish, but I was able to adapt the device to fit with my other electronic entertainment rack.

Comments about Sony CDP-CE375 CD Changer:
Easy to plug in. Easy to figure out how to operate. It operates quite nicely. No skipping. Buttons make sense. No changers have this, but they all should have little lights on the knobs so you can see them better. All in all, I'm very satisfied and no buyer's remorse!!!

Comments about Sony CDP-CE375 CD Changer:
I bought this unit to replace my old 5 disc changer. I haven't had it very long but so far unit works great. I like the fiber optic connection. Slight improvement in sound.
It should have an on/off switch on the remote and the carousel sounds somewhat clanky but overall I would give it an 8 out of 10.

I bought this 3 weeks ago to replace an old player. It works great for me with no problems so far. Sound is good and shuffle play works fine. The lack of on/off button on the remote is just bizarre.

This is a good machine. I've had it for 2 weeks and it's holding up. It's a little slow in changing CDs, but I'm not in any hurry. Once you get familiar with the interface (which doesn't take long at all), it's a cinch.

Hooked this into my Philips radio/CD player that the CD player quit working on.Love the ease of use and sound.Don't like not having a power button and eject on the remote as well as needing the remote to be pointed almost straight on to even work.

Comments about Sony CDP-CE375 CD Changer:
I was looking for a multi-disc changer to match up with the Self-Powered speaker system (Logitech Z2300) I was using for casual music listening and for audio books. One essential feature that I required was a volume control capability on the remote, which turns the Self-Powered speakers into a convenient system, as their volume controls, when they have them, are usually wired into their output cables.
Oddly, the only changers that had this remote volume feature were the expensive units and this VERY economical Sony. I was a bit concerned about the sound output, as I am used to audiophile systems (my previous changer was an ADCOM running through Sonus Faber speakers).
While its's not a top of the line unit, I have to say the sound is very good, especially with audio books.
I recommend it fully with moderate systems, and the volume control is a key feature.

Comments about Sony CDP-CE375 CD Changer:
Needed this right away to play our Christmas CD's since our previous Sony had given up the ghost. Have just had this a couple of weeks, but so far, so good - enjoy all the new features (agree with others that it would be nice to have an on/off control on the remote, but that's a minor complaint).

My old SOMY 5-disc CD changer gave out after I moved it one too many time over 20 years. Bought this one for [$], and again enjoy CDs the old-fashioned way, quick and loud.

Comments about Sony CDP-CE375 CD Changer:
No open/close and power buttons on remote. Perplexed by the inclusion of a headphone jack on the unit; I receive great stereo sound when connecting the CD player to a stereo receiver and listening through the receiver headphone jack. Also plays CD-RWs; so one can sample a project through the CD player before burning to CD-R; also the CD player is able to flawlessly read my different brand CD-R media. I really liked the program, jog shuttle, fast forward, rewind, and pause features; they seemed to perform better when compared to my shelf unit. Overall very pleased with the player considering the price and included features. Purchased for a basic standalone stereo system after my shelf unit became inoperative. I also purchased the CD player based on the favorable reviews concerning durability.

Comments about Sony CDP-CE375 CD Changer:
Great price, great performance, overall very good. Some features are missing, but at this price you cannot ask for more. Nice look and recommended. Does not have memory as skipping protection, but it sits on a shelf so it's not big deal. I'm very satisfied with this unit.

Comments about Sony CDP-CE375 CD Changer:
The only thing that I wish would have been added was a push button selection of tracks as was the case in my last disk changer by Sony. Changing the records with a twist of the dial is very clever.
