Fit on the Nikon lens was perfect. The lens has a larger than normal face and I was constantly bumping the lens edges. The new hood is saving me from cracking filters and the UV lens.

I use this product on my 18-77mm Nikon Lens. It helps protect the glass in the lens. When shooting in areas that have glass enclosures such as aquariums it allows me to get the lens close to the glass and blocks out light for a clearer shot. I like the fact that when not in use it folds back on to the lens and screws into my other filters.
