Bergger VC-CB Warm Tone Black & White Variable Contrast Fiber Base Double Weight Paper -8x10" (Semi-Gloss) (25 Sheets)
Bergger Prestige Variable CB Style is a double weight photographic paper with a warm black image tone, with a cream base. Its heavy (300 gm2), superb fiber base gives it exceptional results.
Prestige Variable CB Style(Cream Base) can produce an image from a soft tone to an exceptionally hard tone due to the emulsion incorporating both blue and green sensitivities.
By using a multi filter set, contrast range from 0 to 5 are available, in half grade increments from a single paper.

I think Berger provides a rich paper with nice tonal contrasts, even if it is expensive.

This is one of my favorite papers, the finish is beautiful. I am developing this paper in Amidol, and boy it is looking good. great separation and tonality in both highlights and shadows. This paper has a cream base that, for me, goes well with portrait work.
It is suitable for lith, a little hard but nice results.
I wish it was cheaper!

My new found warmtone paper, was using ilford warmtone fiber, the bergger is a higher quality paper compared to the ilford. its a thicker fiber base and tones much nicer. The semi-gloss surface is perfect for framed under glass prints for those who who don't like the extra distractions of glossy reflections, but wish for more density range then matte or semi-matte fiber. Now all Bergger needs to do is release larger 50 and 100 sheet boxes of the paper to reduce the price a little.
