Gepe 3.25" (8.3 cm) Flexible Cable Release Extension for Large Format Lenses Mounted in Recessed Lensboards
Many different attempts to trip a lens shutter deep in a recessed lensboard have failed, but the Gepe-Pro Flexible Cable Release finally solves the issue. The thread nipple is incredibly small, allowing even the shortest of lenses mounted in double-recessed lensboards to be easily accessed. Works on Copal 0 shutters mounted in Linhof Technika boards.
There are some shutters(such as Seiko) which have an angle of thread attachment that prohibits their mounting in a 96 x 99mm Linhof Technika-type board while having anything attached to their shutter.

I use these as a permanent extension to my Schneider lens for my Cambo WRS. Each lens has one of these attached making it much easier and faster to attach my shutter release cable.

Tired of seeing your big fat finger in the upper corner of your carefully composed photos? Have you ruined a couple of cable releases trying to force fit them onto that shutter in that recessed lens board? If you answer "yes" to either of these questions,then you need this cable release extension. Worth every penny. Mine is permanently attached to the 88mm wide angle and I just screw the regular shutter release into it. Indispensable.

Field and some rail view cameras front standard can bend a cable release att he shutter screw in socket. Sometimes the cable release near the shutter bends and breaks. The Gepe flexible exgtension solves it. There is no other product like it availalbe.
