I'm an amateur photographer. I use this tripod to shoot events and use it during traveling. I liked this tripod in many ways. I did complete search in various brands to meet my specifications but I'm convinced with this tripod (missing bubble level only). It's hard to find a tripod which has all features. It's individual choice and should buy it if it's meets ones need and budget.

Good thing about this product:
• Very sturdy (I use Canon-60D with 18-135mm lens)
• Three different level adjustments
• Quick flip locks (takes few seconds to open the tripod legs)
• Easy quick release plate
• 3-way pan head for video shoot and photo shoot

Improvement needed:
• Bubble level should be included (nice to have feature)
• Quick release plate should have additional lock like Manfrotto tripod has it. It would hold if any one is not careful while removing the tripod from the quick release plate (must have feature for safety. Slik should think about it).

Much more durable and weighty than others....not heavy, but substantial and made me know my camera wouldn't topple over. Highly recommend!!

This tripod is a great value. I primarily use it for closeup shots and feel that it has great mobility. I also feel its a fairly sturdy piece of equipment. I would definitely recommend this tripod.

Oh, I really love this tripod! It's so easy to use and I love the different panning options! It's a great triipod! I use it to photograph my girls when I want to be in the photo as well, and for family portraits. I can't think of anything that I don't like about it; it's a fun and easy to use tripod. And I've never used a tripod before.

Great tripod for the money. While it may not be as light as some, and it may not support as much as others, it is a great step between flimsy junk tripods and the pro tripods costing hundreds.

The head is smooth and sturdy for my longest lens (70-300 VR) and adjustments are very well controlled.

Especially nice is the ability to unscrew the center column and spread the legs wide for very low work. Makes macros of flowers and the like much easier.

The only downsides are that the quick release plate is not a standard shape and so you'll have to buy all new plates for your gear. Small price to pay for such a good value tripod.
