The Audio Technical AT 3031 is a small diaphragm, condenser microphone designed for use in live sound and recording of vocals, instruments or ambiance. The microphone features a cardioid polar pattern, minimizing off-axis audio and providing focused, accurate signal pick up. The Audio-Technical AT3031 includes an integral 80 Hz hi-pass filter, that provides easy switching from a flat frequency response to a low-end roll-off. The roll-off position reduces the microphone's sensitivity to popping in close vocal use. It also reduces the pickup of low-frequency ambient noise (such as traffic, air-handling systems, etc.), room reverberation and mechanically-coupled vibrations. The microphone operates on 11 to 52 volts DC phantom power.
