Comments about Petrol PCSNS Non-Slip Camcorder Strap with Sony Type Connectors:
Petrol thought of everything when they built the actual strap. Its practically indestructible, slip-proof, and moderately comfortable. However, they overlooked one tiny detail. The small metal bindings that hold the strap together are not reinforced and therefore are not able to take much weight. I was out shooting a car accident at work the other night and I put the strap over my shoulder, started moving and SNAP! The metal binding split apart and my camera almost ended up on the ground. Had I not had my hand on the camera, it would have gone lens first to the concrete. Thanks Petrol for nearly destroying a $50,000 camera. I would not trust this strap nor recommend it to anyone.

Comments about Petrol PCSNS Non-Slip Camcorder Strap with Sony Type Connectors:
This strap is great for broadcast cameras. The clips have an release so the strap won't come off accidentally, although it makes it a little difficult to remove. The strap itself appears to be made from the same material as a seatbelt in a car, no worries about holding up to daily use. The pad is comfortable and curved to fit in your shoulder. One little thing that I've found is that the blue color on the top of the pad is an exact match to Portabrace's Cordura material on my shoulder case on the camera... makes it look like it belongs.
