Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard Brochure & Flyer Paper - 8.5x11" - 50 Sheets:
The paper has a surface similar to luster and shows little, if any, bronzing or gloss differential between light and dark tones. Brightness is moderate but only slightly warm. The main problem is the warping I get on my Epson R2400 since the Epson delivers a pretty heavy load of pigment based inks. The paper also takes the more heavily inked dark tones unevenly so there is some noise in the deep reds and dark greys. Gamut is very close to Epson Premium Luster with a bit more saturation. Since it doesn't dry flat with the heavier application of inks, it's not too suitable for commercial work.
On my Canon MP530 (CYMK+Pigment black), it dries flat. Apparently, the dye based inks don't soak the paper as much as the Epson inks do. The Canon profiles tend warm toned with reddish greys (not just on this paper). But even using Relative Colorimetric settings the results are quite saturated. Hue-accurate but saturated. Shadows are cleaner with the dye inks.
I planned to use it for photo albums, and for printing snapshots to send to friends. I was also hoping to use it to proof and catalog my nature and fine art photos. It's possible that making a custom profile will bring the Canon in line enough to do both.

Comments about HP / Hewlett Packard Brochure & Flyer Paper - 8.5x11" - 50 Sheets:
The product was used to print color brochures with an injet printer.
Paper has a soild feel and apperars to be heavier than it actually is. Ink coverage is good and there is no color distortion. I didnt like the way the paper came out of the container. It felt a little sticky but after fanning it out, it worked fine
