The DSP1124P is a two-channel feedback eliminator that locates feedback frequencies immediately, sets extremely narrow notch filters to pull back the selected frequencies, while leaving the remainder of the signal virtually untouched. With its various modes the user can deal with virtually any live sound situation, or use it as a creative sound-shaping tool with 24-bands of fully parametric equalization.
The DSP1124P uses 24-bit A/D and D/A converters, and a 24-bit high speed DSP for processing functions. The unit can function in "Single Shot," "Manual" and "Auto Mode." Single Shot mode automatically searches and destroys feedback and locks the filter until it is reset manually. Manual mode allows for setting up to 2 x 12 fully parametric filters including frequency, bandwidth and gain. Auto mode continuously monitors the mix, resetting programmed filters automatically. Single Shot, Auto and Manual modes are assignable for each filter.
The DSP1124P provides servo-balanced inputs and outputs on gold plated XLR and 1/4" TRS connectors, accurate eight-segment LED meters, and "future proof" software upgradeable architecture.

Comments about Behringer DSP1124P - Dual Channel Feedback Suppressor:
I'm using the BFD to equalize my subwoofer in my Home Theater setup, and it works great for that purpose. The only problem I've had is a ground loop hum that was introduced into my system with the BFD connected. This appears to be due not to the BFD but a problem with the grounding on my cable line, though, and only occurs when both the cable is hooked to my TV and my TV is connected to my receiver by HDMI. This hasn't been a problem so far since I never need to have both of those connected at once, but hopefully I can eventually find a way to stop the buzz altogether so I don't have to bother with disconnecting the cable when I watch things via HDMI.
