I store all my lenses in these bags when not in use. Unfortunately they are too wide for my backpack and since the bottom is semi-rigid, they don't fit well in the small lens spaces. These cases are recommended for lenses with hoods on. In some cases I would suggest buying a size smaller if you don't use a hood. The case for my 10-22 is way too big and I use the smaller size bag. Other than that, the quality is great. Suede like material, leather semi-rigid bottom, and tough draw strings make for good protection.

Nicely made and soft.
It accommodates EF-S 10-22 even with the lens hood attached (in reverse position).
If you don't have a lens hood or you transport the hood separately, then the bag is too wide. Semi-rigid bottom prevents folding (bending) to a smaller size to better fit EF-S 10-22.
Because it cannot be bent, it's taking up too much space in my backpack.

I got this case for the Canon 10-22mm lens with the lens hood, which is quite wide compared to the lens. The lens/hood fits in smoothly.

Comments about Canon Lens Case LP1319:
Curiously the EF-S 10-22 mm lens does not come with a lens hood or a protective cover. As I often fly with my camera bag as a carry on, I did not want an unprotected lens rattling around in the bag. This cover is very practical, it also looks good, and it will protect the 10-22mm lens with the hood attached.

Comments about Canon Lens Case LP1319:
This lens case is attractive and nicely made. It is considerably larger than the lenses for which it is designed, because it also holds a lens hood.

Comments about Canon Lens Case LP1319:
A lens case is a must have for each new lens I order. Canon does a great job on their cases. They are soft, and therefore do not provide the protection of a hard case, but they do help to eliminate dust and scratches. Highly recommended for all lenses.

Comments about Canon Lens Case LP1319:
I think a bag like this is a ncessity when storing multiple lenses in close proximity. I bought a few different versions of this bag for all my lenses and an upcoming trip to the Grand Canyon. While the bags do seem a bit overpriced they are made very well and look fantastic. Overall I would definitely buy this again.
