I just got my Billingham 106 media bag today and I love it!!! The quality of the bag is great. It accommodates my camera and two extra lenses nicely. It has two front pockets providing enough space for such things as my wallet, car keys, and cell phone. I purchased the harness which converts the bag into a backpack. The harness makes carrying the bag very easy and comfortable.I also love the fact that the bag doesn't look like a traditional camera bag. As one of the previous reviews states....it doesn't scream photographer.

I bought Billingham 106 Media Systems Bag (black) for my wife (www.aquagraphia.ru) to her birthday because it very suits for lady-photographer. She was happy because this bag looks like a bag for ladies. The bag is very comfortable for transportation of cameras, lenses and accessories. There is special top cover inside the bag for additional safe camera and lenses from loading from above. Handle with fasteners for keeping in hand ensures more comfortable carrying at small distance and additional safe from outside access in the bag during transportation. After closing handle you can have access in two outside front pockets. These pockets are very convenient for eyeglasses, lady’s accessories, and mobile telephone. Outside back zippered pocket has additional protection and can be used for tickets, passport and thin wallet or purse for traveling expenses. Additional superposed wide plate which is set in shoulder-strap gives more comfortable carrying especially fully filled bag.

The size of the bag is optimum for strong requirement of security at airports and transportation of camera and lenses with hand luggage. There is possibility to reduce a weight of the bag after a highway crossing or flight. There is possibility to take off the special top cover inside the bag and superposed wide plate for reduction the weight during the shooting. All pockets have separate clasps and you can shoot with unfastened clasps of the top cover. Camera can be kept in the bag during the shooting and can be taken out quickly because the bag has top zipper locking up the main pocket for camera.

Imaginary thoughts of being out on a photo hunt and having the right gear and enough of it, can easily lead one whose looking to purchase a gear bag, into, what i would now describe as what would have been an massive overkill had i purchased the 555 or 445 at first thought. Sooner or later to come. Due to remodeling at B&H photo, it almost seemed if it were my first time there the way i had to be directed, however i was led upstairs and as soon as i reached the top i saw it( the Billingham 106 Media System bag) and knew right away it would be all that I'll need for now. I'll just say this- I'm carrying the Nikon f6 & fg,four zeiss lenses in the one pound+range, flash, meter and film and access./ filters are maintained in order on my belt in several pouches. bottom line- i have what i need on the shoot and at the end of the day i feel normal and very much prepared to do it all over again the next day. BTW the 106 does not scream photographer.

Expertise: Very Meticulous

Problems Encountered: More interpersonal, i seriously dislike the fact that the price tag led me into a game of cat and mouse-with money wasted in between. Excessive bags-WOW!!!!!! there goes a load of filters.
