A couple of years ago, I but this product. It has held up quite well to use and being carried around in pockets and waist packs. I have not had any problems with the SD lock switches getting broken which was reported an another reviewer. Because of my satisfaction with this product, I ordered two more: another one for me and one for my parents. They are quite happy with the case as well. It also holds the cards in very well so they don't fall out when opened.

I used this for months in my camera bag, but on location recently I took it out to change cards and dropped the case when it was open. the case immediately broke along the hinge, making it impossible to reclose (and, by the way, scattering sd cards on the ground). It was a fine device until I dropped it. It can't survive a fall of four feet onto asphalt. I'm now using a version by pelican, which seems more sturdy, and is less smooth on the outside (harder to drop).

Comments about Hakuba DMSP-SD8 SD Card Case:
Probably the most durable case that B&H sell, other than its little brother. Could be lighter, but aluminum would cost more. The SD nest holds all cards tightly; I have a menagerie. The clasp may or may not eventually break, but I wouldn't expect it for some years, unless there's extreme abuse

Comments about Hakuba DMSP-SD8 SD Card Case:
Very sturdy case. This is my second one. I really like the feel of it. Some might find it heavy, but I don't mind. Maybe the only thing that would concern me is the latch mechanism. Not sure how long it will last, but the case is sturdy enough that I'm not too concerned about it.

Comments about Hakuba DMSP-SD8 SD Card Case:
Instead of having a bunch of cards rattling around in the bottom of a bag, they are stored securely in this nifty little case. Cards are easy to add and remove, and the case seems really sturdy. Should have bought one of these years ago.

Comments about Hakuba DMSP-SD8 SD Card Case:
Great SD Card Case, I have many of these, as well as the Compact Flash version's. Well Made, reasonable in price, keeps your cards secure, clean, and dry. The only thing I would suggest, is that the manufacturer could strengthen the hinge, a piece of flexible plastic.

The case worked out great, allowed me to keep all my cards within one place and safe from damage. It was also easy to track which cards I had used.

Comments about Hakuba DMSP-SD8 SD Card Case:
This is an outstanding product at an exceptionally good price. My wife and I (and our multiple cameras) recently returned from an extended trip out west. Ordinarily, we have trouble keeping up with all our memory cards, but the DMSP-SD8 SD Card Case resolved this problem by keeping everything together in one place. Believe me, it saved a lot of stress!

Stores 8 SD cards in a compact case. Cards are held securely and slots have a relieved area at bottom that makes for easy removal. The case latches shut and easily fits a shirt or pants pocket.

Comments about Hakuba DMSP-SD8 SD Card Case:
Excellent product for safe storing multitudinous cards. However, please watch the position of the
lock pins when inserting/removing cards. Should
a pin be dislodged, it's probably not broken, and can
be reinserted carefully in the card. I'm ordering 2
more of these cases! Thanks, B&H for carrying these
useful, quality items!

Comments about Hakuba DMSP-SD8 SD Card Case:
This item is a handy container for my SD cards. I carry as many as twenty SD cards as I shoot very often, sometimes all day and into the night. 50% of my shooting is in Raw format so I use many cards. Being that one case holds 8 SD cards, it is a must to have at least two of them which takes care of 16 SD cards.

It has a strong latch and great shock absorption, but it can be a little challenging to get the cards out because it holds them so well.
