The Elmo EV-4400AF is an easy to operate visual presenter with a digital camera with crisp powerful lens, above and below lighting, audio capabilities and a bunch more special image functions. The unit will interface with almost any video projector or display monitor with both Composite and S-video outputs. It even has inputs to pass through other imaging devices. With its RS-232C connector it can even be controlled by a computer.
- Camera Features
- The EV-4400AF has a high quality digital camera with an 18x optical zoom lens. Displaying text, maps or anything small or intricate can be clearly seen in detail. For hands-free operation the camera has automatic focus and exposure. A single button will set white balance for color consistency. Digital features include image magnification, image scrolling and black and white or negative image selections. An on-screen display gives immediate feature status information. The camera head can be swiveled 245° and its movable arm can point the camera in almost any direction.
- Flexible Lighting Options
- The unit has a base lighting system for transparency sheets, photo negatives or positives or even scientific specimens. The 2 lamps for overhead lighting will illuminate 3-D objects as well as flat-art and text. The arms of the lights swivel forward when you want to use the camera in an interview situation or to light-up an object in front of the presenter or on a wall.
- Audio for Your Presentation
- This digital presenter can input and output 2 channels (1 stereo pair) of audio for your presentation. A microphone input is even provided to be output to the house sound system or monitor speaker.
- Optional Confidence Monitor
- Elmo offers a LCD monitor that can be mounted on the EV-4400AF with a swiveling shoe mount. The operator would use this to check exactly what the presenter is focused upon, especially handy when switching among several display sources. Power to the monitor is provided by the main unit.
