I've often heard of peoples love of C Stands and wondered..Just how much sturdier are they. When I finaly tired of messing around with my cheap boom stand I thought I would try a C Stand... Why did I wait so long!? When properly balanced its as solid as I could possibly want. Not as portable but thats not a concern for me.
Its not my last one, that much is certain!

We're using 3 Avenger C Stands to support a 10' x 20' green screen. We find the stands to be very sturdy and easy to use. This is a heavy-duty, well constructed C stand and it has the strength to hold up to 22 lbs each. The legs are adjustable which makes storage and transporting much easier. So far we have no complaints and it meets our needs perfectly.
