Comments about Avenger A2030D Turtle Base Century C Stand with Detachable Base - 9.8' (3m):

The C-stand is well built, no chance of falling apart. I can trust this stand will hold anything I have, including large mono lights. They do have some weight to them, but that is do to their rugged construction.

Comments about Avenger A2030D Turtle Base Century C Stand with Detachable Base - 9.8' (3m):

I use this in conjunction with the D600 mini boom, and it's a great setup. The base is wide enough to support a 3x4 soft box without a sandbag on the base, but you still need a counterweight to keep the boom from swinging down.

I use the stands for my very expensive studio lights. And in my opinion, they are worth every penny I paid for them! I love the silver finish. Easy to clean, look fantastic!

I use it for flash/umbrella as well as monolight/umbrella/softbox. It is portable enough to take in an SUV or van. 9' 8" height provides great flexibility for many types of shots.

The stand is very sturdy and provides great support. I would buy again.

I originally bought one of these C stands over 20 years ago and its is still with me today, I use it to hold my very heavy Elinchrome Mono-lights, Its keeps them safe secure and virtually unmovable. The perfect solid stand for use in a busy catering hall with alot of foot traffic, I couldn't be happier with my set.

I use the c stand in a small booth and it is the only stand that will fit inside the small dimensions of the booth and will still be stable. It is a bit heavy to carry but that heft makes all the more stable when in use.
