I have been looking for a stand-alone charger for a while. I bought a "quick charger" from a store online but was not too happy with it and only used it a few times. Now I can charge a battery on the camera and 2 in the charger. I shoot air show videos and don't normally have access to AC power until back at the hotel room. This will work very well for me.

The charger is great and works well. Perfect for alpha cameras with two batteries. The car adapter is great for being on jobs and needing an emergency charge.

The charger works as designed. The display tells you how much time it will take to charge your battery(ies) to a full charge and a complete charge. It will also tell you how much time your battery has left on it's current charge. I was a little disappointed by the fact that the charger will hold two batteries but will only charge them one at a time. It will automatically switch to the second after the first is charged.
