While a bit on the expensive side it is what it claims to be and a good value. It is well made and a workable design.
Hard plastic insert (removable) in the end with padding and a drawstring at the collar.
It fits over the lens w/hood or just the lens.
Works for me.
I might add a strip of velcro to the side slit but there is enough overlap (1.5") to keep the dust out.
