O 7x50 Marine é um binóculo econômico e de alta performance feito na Alemanha para o uso em embarcações. A ótica Steiner fornece uma transmissão de luz superior a 90%, e o 7x50 Marine possui o revolucionário sistema Sports Auto Focus da Steiner que, depois de ajustado de acordo com a visão individual do usuário, permite a observação de 60 pés (18,3m) ao infinito sem a necessidade de reajuste de foco. O eye relief possui 22mm para observações prolongadas confortáveis, mesmo com óculos.
O 7x50 Marine é preenchido com nitrogênio, vedado externamente e suporta jatos d'água em vários ângulos por 5 minutos sem vazamento. Também é testado para suportar uma mudança de temperatura de 30° F sem embaçamento interno. Ele é definido pela Steiner como 'comercialmente à prova d'água'.

I love these binoculars. My main use is to view Rocky Montain sheep and goats from my boat. The binoculars are crystal clear, steady to hold, and the auto forcus makes it easy to use. They are a heaver to use than my 8X40 hunting binoculars but the view is worth it!

This is the first pair of binoculars that I've ever owned. I've always thought that if I ever did get a pair they would have to be Steiner. I Purchased these binoculars to use sailing and use on the beach. They let the light in they are comfortable and ruggedly built very high quality binoculars. I am completely satisfied with them.

Bought these as stationary binoculars to keep in the boat. I am amazed by the value for money. The sports autofocus system works great for me. Quick to adjust, only needs re-adjusting if going from nearly all time close-up viewing to nearly all time distant viewing. Otherwise your eyes do the adjusting themselves.
The picture is crystal clear and the light througput amazing.
The front lens caps are tight fitting and attached to the binoculars, great. The rear lens caps are actually one lens cap. Loose, non waterproof fit and attached to neck strap. Which for its own part is useless. Too slim and no padding. It can easily be replaced though.
All in all I am very satisfied with the value for money on these binoculars.

I bought these specifically to find the marks when cruising on my 58' Hatteras, the 30 year old one without autopilot. They give me the confidence to sit back and relax while I'm piloting. I can find the marks well in advance and be certain of exactly where they are located. I have had other brands of marine binoculars that were not as good. I had another pair of Steiners, which I loved, and which is why I bought these. But this pair exactly suits my current avocation.
