JBL N-26AWM2 Northridge Series 6" 2-Way 125-Watt Bookshelf Speaker, All Weather - Pair - White
The N26AWII, a 2-way 6" bookshelf, weather-resistant loudspeaker with high-impact molded enclosure, reproduces sound with unmatched clarity and power.
The PolyPlas (polymer-coated cellulose fiber) cone woofer features traditional JBL engineering - the same technologies used in JBL's Professional equipment that can be found in stadiums, music halls and movie theaters around the world.
High-temperature, oversized Kapton voice coil and HeatScape motor structure allow these speakers to effortlessly play all types of movies and music. The FreeFlow flared port increases bass response without adding unwanted port noise. JBL's custom-designed drivers allow the use of simple, Straight-line Signal Path (SSP) crossover networks with high-quality electrical components, minimizing processing that could degrade the signal.
- Titanium-Composite High Frequency Transducer Domes
- Light enough to accurately reproduce lighting-fast sounds like cymbal crashes, yet strong enough to eliminate distortion and ear fatigue in the critical high-midrange frequency band.
- Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal (EOS) Waveguides
- Enables speakers to evenly disperse high frequencies and create precise stereo imaging over a wide listening area - instead of in just a tiny "sweet spot" right in front of the speakers.
- PolyPlas
- Enhances the organic fiber structure of low-and midrange-frequency cones, without adding significant weight. The PolyPlas coating eliminates internal resonances and unifies pistonic motion. You hear tighter bass and improved midrange response.
- Heatscape Precision Motor Structure
- Protects low-frequency transducers from destructive thermal buildup, the number-one enemy of professional and home speaker systems. Heat is conducted away from the transducer's sensitive voice coil and dispersed.
- Freeflow Port Architecture
- Extends low-frequency response by coupling internal air motion to a computer-designed aperture with a flared shape, allowing maximum air flow without audible "port noise". The result is room filling bass from a speaker that doesn't fill your room.

This is the second pair I have purchased, the other set is at least 5 years old, always been outside and still sounds great. YOU CANNOT BEAT THIS PRICE FOR THE SOUND AND DURABILITY YOU GET!! No [*] I have recommended these speakers to at least a dozen friends. You will NOT be disappointed, I love these speakers.

Placed these on a 750 sq ft deck with ~ 25 ft of distance between them angled toward the deck center. Just incredible! Felt as though I was indoors listening to a high end system.
They have been placed under the eaves of the home but have been soaked plenty of times by rain, snow and yours truly (with a hose and soapy water).
I have listened to AR, POLK and BOSE installed and though they are nice, they don't compare with this speaker in this price range. I glow when I think of how awesome they sound.
