Comments about JBL FS-300 Floor Stand for Satellite Speakers - Pair - Black:
I use the stands for my JBL bookshelf speakers. The speakers themselves are little funny with their mounts, so if you are going to use stands, you have to use JBL stands (wasted trip to best buy taught me this). The stands themselves work great with the speakers, though. They are thin, so the cables can't feed through them or anything. And the clips they provide are useless, you'll have to use your own ties. The biggest problem is they are not adjustable. But if you have JBL speakers, you don't have any other choice. Gotta hand it to B&H, though . . . great price [...]

Comments about JBL FS-300 Floor Stand for Satellite Speakers - Pair - Black:
I am very pleased with the speaker stands - they work perfectly with my JBL satellite speakers, were easy to assemble, and do not detract in any way from my living room decor. My only (minor) complaint is that the base could be a little heavier, but it is still pretty sturdy on the hardwood floors.

Comments about JBL FS-300 Floor Stand for Satellite Speakers - Pair - Black:
I bought these stands for my JBL scs160's because I could not find the fs400 stands anywhere. Even though they were not recommended for this speaker, it works perfectly. I tried a couple of different "universal" stands and was not happy at all with the results. The fs300 stands are practical and beautiful. They are a little top-heavy but still stable even on my berber carpet. Only problem is the speaker wire does not run through the posts, but on the outside, and the wire clips that are provided do not hold the speaker wire tightly along the post, so I had to use black 4" cable ties instead and it cleaned
everything up. They look awesome!

Comments about JBL FS-300 Floor Stand for Satellite Speakers - Pair - Black:
THese fit my speakers and work great. The reason its a 4 star rating is they are top heavy and with my carpet the speakers top over without some weights on the stands. And the cable wires that hide the cable to the stand its WAYYY too small for the 14 gauge wire.

I put the stands together without much problem. I found that the stands are unsteady on carpeting. I had to place shims underneath the base to keep them upright.

Comments about JBL FS-300 Floor Stand for Satellite Speakers - Pair - Black:
B&H did a great job on [...] price. The stands come in 3 sections, the base ,the pole, and the piece that fits the speaker. The base and pole are metal, but the other piece is cheap plastic. I cracked 2, had to glue the 3rd back together, only got one put together without incident. The speakers lean forward a little more than I would like also.
