Comments about Ilford FP4 Plus 135-36 Black & White Print Film (ISO-125):
I shoot mostly street photography and documentary portraits. As a long-time HP5 user, I love the grain, even in scans, but for portraiture I found that it became overstated when editing the scans digitally. The FP4 yields excellent negatives with noticeably finer grain than the HP5, but be mindful that the 125 ISO requires more light to achieve the kind of contrast the 400 yields easily.

Comments about Ilford FP4 Plus 135-36 Black & White Print Film (ISO-125):
FP4 has a creamy look that I love. When I look at my photos taken with FP4, I have a more emotional response than when I look at photos taken with Delta 100 or Tmax 100. Maybe it's the old-style emulsion. The lab that develops my film uses Xtol which I find works very well for this film. I rate it at ISO 100 and use it in my Hasselblad and Contax 645 cameras.

this film is my go-to film now for B&W. The ISO is perfect for my Leica camera and lenses for outdoor photography. I do a lot of street and travel photography and this film hits the mark. very forgiving and excellent detail in my images.

Comments about Ilford FP4 Plus 135-36 Black & White Print Film (ISO-125):
The Ilford FP4 film is for a 35mm camera. It is 125 speed which produces a more fine grain photograph than 400 speed film. Make sure you change the ISO or ASA on your camera to 125 when you use the film, or the camera will over or under expose the film.

I shot about 20 rolls for school and I didn't have any problems at all. The negatives all came out great. The small film grain made for nice prints.

Comments about Ilford FP4 Plus 135-36 Black & White Print Film (ISO-125):
I first used this in a test of several BW films and was very pleased with the result. Then used it with a recently purchased Olympus 35 RC (1970s) and it offered some additional speed without going to ISO 400. Worked quite well for those "sunny but cloudy" afternoons and cityscape work where ISO 100 might be a bit too slow. The image quality of the negative is great.

I've used this film primarily for portraits and some landscapes, but have also been able to capture some motion (kids, parties). The grain is fine, so images are very crisp.

Comments about Ilford FP4 Plus 135-36 Black & White Print Film (ISO-125):
As far as I remember, I have always used this kind of roll since I have found them. When I started shooting in B&W, I started with other brands as I didn't know this brand. Than, I was advised to use them ... and since then ...
Now why ? Simply because it's the best for me. It's weird to say that, but on those films, colors render the best and you can really see the different shades, dark, light parts.
You want great B&W pictures ? Take those rolls.

Comments about Ilford FP4 Plus 135-36 Black & White Print Film (ISO-125):
This film is excellent for use in a studio. There is little to no grain where as the faster the iso the more the grain you will pick up in pictures while in the studio.

Comments about Ilford FP4 Plus 135-36 Black & White Print Film (ISO-125):
I am a photography student currently taking an intro photo class that deals only with film. I needed to purchase film to complete a project, and B&H was highly recommended by my professor. It turned out to be cheaper than if I had bought it from our local companies, and it was shipped just in time for me to take pictures over the holiday. Plus, the prints came out great! I really have nothing bad to say about it.
